hgwells_sm.jpgH.G Wells was born September 21, 1866 and died August 13, 1946. Mr. Wells taught biology at the University of London for five years before becoming an author. He was a science-fiction writer known for his novels and short stories. Some of his most famous works are The Time Machine, The War of the Worlds, The Island of Dr.Moreau, and The Invisible Man. On October 30, 1938 he did a radio broadcast where he read War of the Worlds. Many people misinterpreted this and thought that Aliens were actually attacking the Earth.

He had a love affair with Rebecca West, and they had a son whom they named Anthony West. Years later, Wells married a girl named Isabel, but soon left her for Amy Catherine. Amy and Wells were married in 1895.

H.G Wells was sometimes called the father of "science-fiction.”

In the book, The Wright 3, Petra finds two copies of the Invisible Man. The book adds to the mysteries that take place in the book.
